A Healing Guided Meditation to SNAP the Brain out of Anxiety w/ Dr. Kate Truitt
In this calming guided meditation, Dr. Kate Truitt leads you through the CPR for the Amygdala S.N.A.P. Protocol, a powerful, science-backed technique designed to help downregulate the mind and body in moments of acute or generalized anxiety. Using mindful touch and cognitive distractions, this practice gently shifts your brain away from anxious loops, promoting a sense of calm, clarity, and resilience. Let this meditation be your reset button—helping you reconnect with safety, ease, and balance.
Connecting with the Present in Time of Stress.
In this psychoeducational video, Dr. Kate Truitt gently explores why some events seem to trigger bigger reactions than others. Our brains, it turns out, are deeply influenced by what we’ve been through in the past. So, when something happens that feels similar to a past experience—whether we’re fully aware of it or not—our mind and body can respond as if we’re back in that moment again.
This understanding can be really freeing. When we become more aware of what’s happening inside us before we react, we can begin to make more conscious choices about how we respond—bringing us back to a place of calm and control.
